AnnotationThe results of testing a sample of 70 year olds in Gothenburg, Sweden, with different intelligence tests. As far as could be judged from cross-sectional comparisons, the average general cognitive capability was good. The 70 year olds were suffering from mental disorders more than younger individuals, and more often were living in social situations that could have influenced basic physical and mental functions.
