Do Once and Share
"Do Once and Share" is a programme to engage clinicians and the public with an interest in a particular area (such as epilepsy, lung cancer or the Single Assessment Process) in activity required for the successful implementation and explanation of NHS Connecting for Health technologies and to minimise unknowing and unnecessary duplication of effort .

DOAS team members are harnessing the significant contributions clinicians are already making to the development of the NHS Care Record Service at national, cluster and local health community levels as well as initiating new areas of work in the form of Action Teams delivering across cluster borders.

To achieve this there are a set of DOAS projects, being delivered by specialty specific Action Teams, the outputs of which will feed into the design, development and implementation of the national programme. The DOAS programme ensures the needs of each specialty are being taken into account, whilst retaining the commitment to provide a record that focuses on the needs of the individual who may have more than one disease and involvement with more than one specialty.
