| Annotation | A short review of depression, a common problem in ageing, precedes a brief explanation of the development of a 20-item simple Hindi version of the Geriatric Depression Scale (GDS-20). Although Hindi is spoken in most parts of India, the Scale's reliability may be affected by illiteracy. The English and Hindi versions of GDS-20 are given as appendices. (RH). |
