| Annotation | All too often, research in health and social care since the NHS and Community Care Act 1990 has been "on" rather than "with" older people. Furthermore, those older people are more likely than not to be "older, frailer older". This article highlights an action research project with "younger, fitter old" members of the Lifetime Project, a project which facilitates the participation of "over 50s" in education and activities run by Age Concern Northampton and County. The action research project sought to design, develop and pilot an evaluation tool (a questionnaire) for the ongoing evaluation of the Lifetime Project, which is described in some detail. (RH). |
