| Annotation | Singapore provides a natural laboratory for studying cross-cultural coping patterns of older people. The findings discussed here are part of a larger cross-cultural study of the multi-dimensional life-space of widowed people in Singapore. This article considers the three main ethnic cultural groups - Chinese, Malays, and Indians - and their attitudes to remarriage and their living arrangements. (RH). |
