| Annotation | The Northern Health and Social Care Trust launched its strategy for mental health and older people at a conference in July 2007 which also endorsed a Behaviour Sciences Nursing Service. The authors report on the development of this service in Northern Ireland which was piloted in Antrim and Ballymena area. Using the Newcastle Challenging Behaviour Service as a model, the aim is to support people with dementia in care homes and the staff who work with them. (RH). |
