| Annotation | The Director of Policy and External Communications at Help the Aged discusses how policy-makers and local government need to listen to older people when designing the communities we live in. He highlights how simple, joined-up thinking can make a big difference to older people's lives. Help the Aged has formed the Communities Council, a multidisciplinary working group of individuals from organisations and interests (including the Centre for Policy on Ageing - CPA). The aim is to use the expertise of those involved to further the vision of lifetime neighbourhoods. (RH). |
