| Annotation | The authors introduce a practical resource to help people with vascular dementia (VaD) to manage their health and lifestyle risk factors. The 4ME cue card is a way of reminding people with vascular dementia of daily, weekly, monthly and yearly activities of things that will improve their health. Examples are taking medication as prescribed, eating a balanced diet, and attempting mental activity. The cue card is supplemented by a booklet providing further information about VaD and vascular health. The article is based on information from the piloting of the 4ME cue card in Stockport, which is being supported by Stockport branch of the Alzheimer's Society. (RH). |
