| Annotation | Direct placement of students in the homes of service users can provide insights into personalisation funding. This article looks at the experiences offered to social work students by courses at four universities - Sheffield Hallam, Plymouth, Coventry and Bournemouth - and the evaluation of effectiveness of such placements. The importance of the learning opportunities afforded by practical work with users is highlighted. (RH). |
