AnnotationAge UK (formerly Age Concern and Help the Aged) has published a new report looking at older people's experiences of living in the private rented sector. The report is part of a project that aims to encourage a greater focus on the private rented sector, explore the experiences that older people have whilst living in privately rented housing, and encourage appropriate policy developments and regulatory responses. The report looks at variations in tenants' experiences by type of tenancy; elements of private renting such as affordability, property condition and security of tenure; and development of a private rented sector strategy for older people.
