| Annotation | This annual report summarises the work carried out by the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO) for England only for the financial year ending in March. This Ombudsman provides a service to the public by undertaking independent investigations into complaints that government departments, a range of other public bodies in the UK, and the NHS in England, have not acted properly or fairly or have provided a poor service. Summaries of completed investigations into complaints against the NHS are to be found in separate reports published quarterly. (KJ). |
