| Annotation | The authors introduce Frames of Mind, an innovative method of using stop frame animation as a communication tool to work with people with dementia. The main components of Frames of Mind include the animations with recorded voice-overs to narrate a story, along with music of a person's choice. Each participant receives a DVD of their work to watch again and to share with others. This article describes the benefits of the technique, and discusses future applications for the technology.
