| Annotation | This study analysed data from a survey of pensioners by SCPR in 1985 in order to elucidate the factors that cause some retired people to become dependent on supplementary benefit. It found that a lack of occupational pensions and investment income increased the chances of being dependent on supplementary benefits. |
