AnnotationPresents the findings from a survey which shows welfare rights teaching to be marginal to social work education, and puts forward explanations for this. Concludes that a 'rights based' perspective should be included and analyses the advantages and disadvantages of four means by which this might be achieved: the 'benefit based' model, the 'client-group' based model, the 'issue based' model and the 'situation based' model.
