AnnotationThe process of setting up a pilot Homeshare/Daycare project is recorded. The report's intention is to describe in detail the process involved to the point of placement. The project was also the testing ground for future development of `foster care' for adults. Although the report pays attention to homeshare/daycare, many of the issues raised have relevance for similar kinds of development work, and raise questions concerning the type of care offered within the wider framework of services for older people.
