AnnotationThe European Framework Agreement on Part-Time Work comes into force in two years' time, and will give part-time workers the same employment rights as their full-time colleagues. This article examines what it will mean in practice for part-time social workers and residential care staff, bearing in mind the discrimination which they currently experience.
