| Annotation | Winchester House is a nursing home in Libertyville, Illinois (USA); it is county-owned and operates with skilled care nursing. The facility has 360 residents and 400 employees. In early 1995, Current Works Inc., a small computer design and manufacturing company, were looking for the opportunity to test computers with simple adaptations on those living in nursing homes. Current Works and Winchester House began working together later in that year. After a couple of years involvement, the joint efforts of Current Works and Winchester House have convinced the residents and staff that computers do have a place in nursing homes, with real interest and ability to learn how to use computers was shown by residents.
