AnnotationThis study investigated the relationship between race, finding meaning (as a positive psychological resource variable), and the outcomes of caregiver depression and global role strain among 77 African American and 138 white spouse caregivers of persons with dementia. Finding provisional meaning had a direct negative relationship with depression and global role strain, there was no interaction by race in the process influencing caregiver distress. (AKM).
